About

Receipts for the timeline.

Pumpfake exists because “DYOR” is a lot of work and the people telling you to do it are usually the ones you should be researching. We track public KOL behavior over time, score it against a published methodology, and put the number where everyone can see it.

Public data only

Posts, bios, and on-chain activity. Nothing scraped from private groups or DMs.

Published weights

Every signal and weight is on the methodology page. If we change it, the change is dated.

Disputable

Every profile links here. Disputes with evidence get reviewed and the result is logged.

Common questions

Is this financial advice?
No. Scores are algorithmic opinions derived from public activity. They are a pattern detector, not a verdict on anyone's character or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
Why is my score so high?
Open your profile and read the breakdown. Each signal shows which behaviors drove the number. Wallet behavior and shill performance carry the most weight, so dumping on followers or promoting coins that went to zero moves the needle most.
Can a score go down?
Yes. Scores recompute on a fixed cadence and the 30-day window rolls forward. Disclose sponsorships, hold through your calls, and stop pushing paid groups and the signals follow.
Someone submitted me and the preliminary score is wrong.
Preliminary scores are not public until a moderator approves them. Use the dispute form below or the Report inaccuracy button on any profile and include links to the evidence.

Dispute a score or get in touch

Tell us which profile, which row, and why it's wrong. For a single data point, the Report inaccuracy button on the profile is faster. For anything else, use the form. The methodology page explains what each signal measures.

For disputes, include the handle and links to the evidence.
